“Tess, what do you photograph?”

“Forks.”

The question I am most often asked as a photographer is what things I typically photograph. Usually people expect the answer to be something like, “portraits” or “landscapes”. So when the answer is “forks” it’s a little confusing. The reason for this is for me the subject matter is much less important than the technique. Photography has unfortunatly been relegated to only our phones and that is a shame. I strive to show that photography can be created in a multitude of styles, techniques and skills. Take a look at a few of these examples to get an idea of what is possible.
